He can make the guitar sing, just like it had a soul.
Besides, he can create very good song which is meaningful but the lyrics.
I love to listen his song very much, all of his songs are in my playlist in a whole day for almost a year. All songs from his very first album until the latest (Paradise Valley).
I would like to share you John's songs, top ten songs based on my opinion.
Very simple lyric but have big message. The song tells us that love isn't just a word. It is an action. Everyone will not be happy by just listening sound "love"from someone's mouth or just a feeling. People need the real love that disclosed by doing something good.
9. Free Fallin'
I think the song shows us the weakness of a man. It also tells that the woman is a strong and finest creature. That's absolutely true that man is a very bad when they hurt woman, and that is the real and worst weakness. A man will be very pathetic if he dares to hurt women.
I like John singing this song in live performance with acoustic guitar.
8. Dreaming With a Broken Heart
This song is very touching a deep of hurting man. Great song and so emotional.
7. Daughter
Daughter, song that has very good value. I think John wrote this song based on his experience. His parents divorced, and through this song, he wants to tell everyone who wants to be parent to be good model for their children gonna be.
It's good stuff from John, I really appreciate it.
6. The Heart of Life
My spirit is back when listening this song. Life sometime go wrong, no one expected this but no one can avoid. But this song can remain us that every cloud always has silver lining. Problems may come every time, every where, much or less, but friends never leave us.
John wrote the song marvelously, and he arranged softly only with guitars.

I'm Gonna Find Another You. Move on song, after you had a dream with a broken heart. Incredible song for broken hearted one.
4. Stop This Train
John sings this song with very good guitar play. His guitar just sounds like train. The meaning of the lyric is also very valuable.
People sometime do not want to be old. People can do many things when they're young with a lot of energy and curiousness like John had when he was young.
But, everyone should realize that we'll never stop the time, we will go old even we do not ask for it.
3. Your Body Is a Wonderland
Song for appreciating woman, I think. The lyrics seems flirty and teasing. John made the song so enjoyable and fun.
2. Dear Marie
Dear Marie. The song is created to greet someone who disappear for a long time. Someone whom you had ever loved.
I like the song so much because this is unique song. The instruments also unique, with old country genre. The ending of the song is the best part for me.
1. Gravity
I don't know what should I say about this song. The song is so deep, deep like where the gravity is. Inside the earth until the core perhaps. Just try to listen and find the message by yourself.
I like to watch John performing this song live. You mau hear "The Back One" singing along with John.
Those all top ten are in my opinion. But, generally I like all of his songs.
